Regional planning commissions should undertake outreach to all municipalities in their region and support them to develop adequate regulations for private landing areas and drones, including informational and consultation processes with the community. This might include model regulation language, which towns could use following town wide votes on allowing (and zoning) or prohibiting private landing areas.
